The students in the CropXR Minor finalised their first block with an inspiring poster session where they presented their podcasts on climate-resilient crops.
Lecturer Elysa Overdijk looks back with great satisfaction and shared her impressions in a personal LinkedIn post:
What makes this course special is its interdisciplinary mix — connecting plant sciences, data science, and social sciences to explore how we can grow resilient crops for the future. Watching students bring these perspectives together was incredibly rewarding. One student captured it beautifully: “I really feel like I am walking away from this course with the understanding of the interactions between the disciplines and a newfound love for plants!“.

The event will take place at Wageningen University & Research. CropXR members that would like to join the event can send an email to Sjoerd Smit.
