Young CropXR is an initiative meant to strengthen the ties between CropXR’s early career professionals. In January 2025, these young-hearted colleagues engaged in a fun activity. Moreover, they exchanged stories and learnt more about each other’s work.
The Young CropXR community is in full bloom. A lot of new people have joined CropXR in the past six months, leading to a significant growth of the Young CropXR group. The activity in January was, therefore, a great opportunity for all those new faces to meet other colleagues and share stories.
The group met at Utrecht Central station. Although there were some stragglers, the group attracted sufficient attention, enabling everyone to find each other. Soon after, the group moved to the restaurant for dinner. People started mingling, exchanging names and informing each other on what they are working on.
Next on the program was jeu de boules. Teams were forged whilst trying to mix as many different work packages and universities as possible. And then the games began! During the activity, stories were exchanged, nicknames assigned, and ideas created. At the end of the evening, everybody returned home, charged with new energy and inspiration.
Young CropXR is looking forward to new activities that are likely to take place in the next couple of months.
