How do climate change and the reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers affect the work of breeders, farmers, growers, and policymakers? On Thursday April 10, CropXR will welcome its community and relevant stakeholders to participate in the event ‘Perspectives. Resilient crops in a changing world: from challenges to solutions’ at the venue DeFabrique in Utrecht. Please find the program below.
During this one-day event, we will provide insights into sustainable crop production from various perspectives and discuss its challenges, such as extreme weather conditions and the reduced use of fertilizers and harmful pesticides.
How can we tackle these challenges? What possible solutions exist, and what personal contribution can one make to these solutions? Throughout the day, we will get to know each other’s stories and exchange ideas for collective change.
