How does climate change affect the work of a breeder, a farmer or a grower? On Thursday April 10, CropXR will welcome its community and relevant stakeholders to participate in the event ‘Perspectives. Resilient crops in a changing world: from challenges to solutions’ at the venue DeFabrique in Utrecht.
A wide range of perspectives
The CropXR institute invites the event’s participants to listen to personal stories of people who face challenges imposed by climate change. By zooming out and looking at the work of CropXR and its possible impact, CropXR hopes to stimulate important reflection. How can everyone contribute to the bigger purpose and become an impact-maker in his, her or their own way?
During a rich one-day program, participants will discuss challenges in sustainable crop production and consider possible solutions that could deal with reduced inputs and climate change.
There will be inspiring stories from a wide range of perspectives as well as engaging discussions. Moreover, those present will be able to talk to people from different fields to broaden their views. The event offers a chance to explore the impact of CropXR’s activities and discover how we can collectively make a difference.
Whether you are a researcher, breeder, grower, farmer, or policymaker, this event is about coming together to empower our community and shape the future. Let us ignite further conversation – together. Become an ambassador for change!
