Utrecht, 6 June 2026
On 6 June, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Advisory Committee of the Dutch National Growth Fund to CropXR.

Being within the National Growth Fund, CropXR greatly values the opportunity to engage in an open dialogue about our mission: accelerating the development of more resilient crops through data-driven design.
During the visit, we showed how CropXR’s unique public-private partnership supports this mission. It brings together academic partners and dozens of companies, many of them active in plant breeding.
It was also a wonderful opportunity to show how our ambitions are taking shape in practice at the NPEC.nl research facility at Utrecht University.
The visit brought valuable reflections and inspiring input on the role CropXR can play in strengthening the Dutch innovation ecosystem and contributing to future food security. We left with new insights, renewed energy and a strong sense of shared commitment.
